Building on over 40 years of experience in providing Christian education to families in the Alexandria area, our vision is to be equipping at least 200 students each year by the year 2028. Christ-centered academics, arts and athletics are tools we use to disciple the next generation so that our homes, churches, community and world are impacted now and in eternity. We provide the only K-12 learning experience in the Alexandria area. Today's students are tomorrow's leaders—investing in them shapes the future.

Mission

Alexandria Community Christian School provides and engaging and relational academic environment, equipping the next generation to learn, love and lead.

Beliefs

ACCS is a ministry to families of K-12 age children. As Christians, we believe and teach:

  • the Bible is the inspired Word of God, and is free from error in part and in whole. It is the only authoritative and infallible rule of faith and practice.
  • there is one God, in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. They are co-existent, co-eternal and co-equal.
  • that Jesus Christ, God the Son, was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, lived a sinless life, died on the cross to atone for the sins of men, was bodily raised from the dead, and ascended into Heaven.
  • man is by nature a sinner and can only be cleansed of sin through repentance and faith, turning from sin and trusting in the Lord Jesus.
  • that the Holy Spirit indwells all believers, that the baptism in the Holy Spirit according to Acts 2:4 is given to believers who ask for it, and that the present ministry of the Holy Spirit includes distributing spiritual gifts to the body of Christ to be used for the common good. (Romans12, I Corinthians 12)
  • the personal return of the Lord Jesus in power and glory, and the Resurrection of the dead, and the Last Judgment.
  • the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.

Values

Our values guide the decisions made from the governance board all the way down to the athletics and arts programs. Our values help us to reach our mission and measure organizational growth.
